CHARLIE OVERBEY

BIOGRAPHY

Rolling Stone calls Charlie Overbey an “LA Cult Figure“. The veteran Los Angeles musician and performer now resides at his off-grid ranch in New Mexico where he is also the maker of Lone Hawk Hats.

Extremely well known for his hand sculpted hats, Overbey’s Lone Hawk Hats were most recently featured on Tim McGraw & Faith Hill in the hit Yellowstone spinoff series 1883.

In 2018 Overbey released his LP “ Broken Arrow “ followed by several music festival performances including Stagecoach, Cal Jam 18, Muddy Roots, The Beachlife, Under The Big Sky and more with 2019 bringing much of the same festival show excitement and touring. With the 2020 new album release stalled due to COVID, Overbey laid low and instead focused on philanthropy for Navajo Nation Covid relief with the release of the NIVA single “Ode To John Prine” with members of The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Foo Fighters and singer LP.

In 2020, the company raised over $100K for Navajo Nation COVID Relief with the help of musician clients & friends Sheryl Crow, LP, Charlie Starr, Chris Robinson, Marcus King, Richard Fortus, David Lee Roth, Brandon Boyd, Jimmy Vivino and actors Cree Summer, Raoul Max Trujillo & Dan Stevens among others.
